12th Annual Diez Vista Race Information
Date: Sat April 5th, 2008
Time: 7:30am Sharp
Check in/Packet Pick Up: 6:30-7:15am & Trail briefingDay of Race Registration: If Available will be at 7:15am
Place: White Pines Beach Parking Lot at Sasamat Lake
Course: 50km mostly good trail, some hills, some flat, some mud, some rocks. Start and finish at Sasamat Lake. Marked with flagging and flour. Approx. 6000ft of elevation gain.
Parking: Plenty at Sasamat
Restrooms: Start/Finish and Buntzen Lake
Cut Off Times: None
Pacers & Pets: Not Permitted
Drop Bags: One only at Equestrian Parking lot, which is aid station #3
Awards: Female and Male winners overall, Age Group winners <30, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+
Medical: At Finish and first aid boxes at each aid station
Post Race: BBQ and other goodies. Alcohol is strictly prohibited. Bring your own lawn chair.
Must be 19 years of age by race day!
Entry confirmations will not be mailed but will be updated on the web siteAid stations are located approx every 7km along the route with everything from water to Electrolytes, coke at later aid stations, pretzels, chips, fruit, gummy bears, cookies, potatoes at some aid stations.
